Do you feel like everybody is starring at you when you walk down the streets? Do you feel awkward wearing your favourite t-shirt when going through the zebra line, just because the colours of your t-shirt and the black and white stripes don't match? Or even worst, do you get scared when someone asks you "What time is it?" on the middle of the street? Well, it's good to know you are not the only one. Reading this step-by-step guide you will be able to learn how to leave all those thoughts behind and cross streets easily, without any problems and come out alive and well.

Before you start, it is necessary to know where you want to go and the way you want to take. Making a map may be considered too much, but in extreme cases, it may help.

It's extremely important to pay attention and stay focused on what's going on around you. Just keep an eye on your belongings and don't get close to that weird person that seems to have been looking at you for a long time - he/she may be a thief.

It's good to consider that if car accidents take place, people that walk closer to the streets are more likely to suffer injuries. So, be careful! Walking near to the "store's side" is a very useful advice.

Crossing streets sometimes can get really dangerous. If you don't look carefully to the cars and the traffic lights, you may be a product of a not really comfortable consequence, such as an accident. Therefore, it is essential to walk on the zebra line - and to walk on it while cars are not moving around and the traffic lights are RED.

If you are planning to go across a two ways' street, make sure no cars are visible on both sides.

Avoid wearing sandals or flip-flops, and high-heels. If, on your way there's a rock, you may trip on it, fall or even die, hit by a car. USE TENNIS SHOES!

Finally, don't worry about what other people will think about your favorite lime green t-shirt with pink stripes, which your mommy designed especially for you. Fashion nowadays has become really... vast.

Tips

  • Just keep your head straight and walk as you were the king of the universe, people will notice it and let you pass.
  • If you ever trip, don't make drama. Just pretend you were playing around or that you found a coin.
